The Anima Series

A great deal of my writing in 2020 has been focused on trying to put into context some interesting emotional experiences I’ve had this year that I hope to never experience again. My most thorough attempt to intellectualize it all came during a deep dive into Carl Jung, which I called my Anima Series. This group of essays includes a few stray essays that don’t directly fit with Jung, but I think they illuminate my process sufficiently to keep them grouped here.

Amor Fati, Reconsidered

Summoning the Anima

Finding Comfort Alone

Solitude and Trust

Once More with Feeling

Rereading, Reconsidering

Escaping the Banal

Anima: What Does it Mean Today?

Wrapping Up the Anima Series
