Four Projects?

About a week ago, I was feeling a bit down, thinking I didn’t have any projects making forward progress. But now I have a concept for four different projects I can work on in the coming months:

  • The Severance Project. It may move slowly, but I do have a clear idea of what I want to do with it.
  • The Montaigne Translation Project. I can progress this one analytical essay at a time.
  • The Kieslowski Project. I’m currently moving through “The Double Life of Veronique.” I might organize this project around the Kieslowski films that include the fictional composer Van den Budenmayer.
  • The Definition of Love Project. I already have numerous essays on this subject that includes thoughts from Stendhal, Proust, Tolstoy and others. I’ll probably come back to it last, but I think there’s potential in it.

All of this should keep me busy until September, at least.
